Meet your guide between 3-3:30pm in your hotel lobby and drive 2.5 hours to the Gubei Water Town. The Gubei Water Twon is located in Miyun County, which is 155 km away from downtown Beijing. It is a newly developed tour destination combining the Great Wall, mountains, lakes, ancient villages and fancy five-star hotels. The Water Town is a replica of Wtown in Zhejiang province, which is the most famous and popular water town in China.

Upon arrival, your guide will first show you around the Water Town and take you to a nice restaurant for dinner. Then take the cable car to get on the Great Wall at Simatai. First built in the Northern Qi dynasty (550–577) and rebuilt in the Ming dynasty (1368-1644), the Simatai section of the Great Wall is 5.4 km long with 35 beacon towers. It incorporated the different characteristics of each section of the Great Wall. The Wall is especially beautiful with the lights on, and it is a perfect place to have a panoramic view of the whole water town which is also stunning with the lights.

After hiking on the Wall, you will take the cable car down the mountain then a golf cart back the parking lot. You have the option to take a boat (ticket on your own) or walk back the parking lot (30 minutes).

After tour ends, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing (2 Hours driving time).
