For this tour, you will be taken to a Rajasthani home for a cooking demonstration followed by lunch or dinner. You can choose to participate in the cooking, or merely watch and learn. If you want, you may even accompany the family member to a nearby local market to purchase ingredients for the meal.

Rajasthani cuisine was influenced by both the warrior lifestyles of its inhabitants and the availability of ingredients in this arid region. This cuisine is largely vegetarian, with an emphasis on pulses, millets and milk products. However, since this community is also known for its royal hunting soirees, small game animals and lamb dishes are also a speciality.
