Experience the best of Nassau on this exciting & historically jam packed 3-hour tour by Land and Sea highlighted by a visit to the world famous Atlantis Resort. From our custom catamaran to air-conditioned buses, experience all of Nassaus Colonial and Pirate past. Your exploration begins at the Prince George Dock aboard the custom Seahorse Catamaran. You will start with a leisurely cruise through the crystal teal waters of Paradise Island Harbor while enjoying complimentary refreshments from the bar. You will experience breathtaking views of the Atlantis, celebrity homes and mega yachts. Your guide will keep you entertained while pointing out Historic sites including; Hog Island Lighthouse, Fort Montagu, The Nassau Sailing Club, The Cloisters and many others. You will return to the dock and continue your adventure aboard an air conditioned transport. Along the way, you will make stops at the historic Fort Fincastle, where you will have time to explore the local shops and visit the Queen Victoria Staircase for many photo opportunities. Your tour continues along Bay Street, the heart of Nassau's shopping district and home to the Native Straw Market, where you will have views of the Governors Mansion, Gregory Arch, and many other historic sites. Throughout this tour, your knowledgeable guide will keep you entertained with tales of Nassau's rich history. You will then continue your tour to Paradise Island, an island connected to New Providence by two bridges that cross Nassau Harbor. Hog Island Lighthouse, constructed 1817, is at the western tip of the island and can be seen from the cruise port. The highlight of Paradise Island is world famous Atlantis. Atlantis is a magnificent resort encompassing over 3,000 hotel rooms, 20 restaurants, a wide variety of stores, a 123-acre water park, beautiful beaches and the largest casino in the Bahamas. The total cost to construct Atlantis was over $2 billion. Your tour will make a short stop at Atlantis where you will have free time to explore the amazing lobby, casino, or the shops. After your free time, you will be driven back to your ship. Guests wishing to end their tour at Atlantis will need to arrange a taxi back to the ship pier at their own expense. There are many taxis available at Atlantis and the approximate cost of the ride to the ship pier is $5/person. It is up to the guest to make sure they are back to their ship before sailing time.
