Private Nassau Pirate Themed Tour

9am - Pirates Republic Pub The tour start from the cruise terminal with pickup. After pickup we will stop at the Pirates Republic Pub and Brewery (tasting not included) 9:30-9:45 Hilton hotel Then we head to the British Colonial Hilton where you’ll find the statue of Woods Rogers who is a former pirate turned Royal Governor General, and was also instrumental in the abolishment of piracy in the Bahamas. On the site where his statue used to be fort Nassau which was used to actually hang pirates. But it’s no longer there but it’s Spirit lives on through the British colonies Hilton lobby area which depicts the history of piracy in the Bahamas from start to finish. While at the hotel we’ll have an opportunity to walk inside and see parts of the pirate stories. 9:45-10:15 - Fort Charlotte 10:30-11:15- John Watling Distillery There is also a Distillery called John Watling where you can get to tour facility and rum tasting. 11:30-12:00 - Fort Fincastle and Queens staircase. Built to protect the islands from the invasion of pirates, and we’ll be able to tour all facilities. 12:00-1:00 - Black Beards tower There is also a Black Beards tower which will require a little hike but it totally worth it. Afterward we’ll head over to Paradise Island see some of the Atlantis and then to finish the tour you can be dropped back at your cruise ship or the pirate museum (entrance not included) which is 5 minutes walk from the cruise ship.
