Plains of Rohan Here you will visit the locations for the tracking of Uruk Hai by Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli across the Plains of Rohan. The burning of the Rohan Village. The meeting for the first time of Aragorn and Eomer. The dropping of the Elven Brooch by Merry and Pippin found later by Aragorn. Edoras We visit Mt Potts, the location of Edoras. You will hear stories of the building of the massive Edoras set and the filming there. You get to see Mt Sunday on which Edoras was built. Picnic lunch provided. Pelennor Fields This is the location of the battle of the Pelennor Fields and Theoden's death. On days when weather prevents access to the Edoras location then the tour includes numerous locations to the west of Queenstown including the Ithilien camp, Nen Hithoel, the Dunharrow encampment, Isengard, Lothlorien woods and the snowy pass of Caradras.
