Vilnius Walking Tour Old Town and Uzupis in English or Norwegian

During this excursion you will walk in old town of Vilnius and Uzupis, which is considered as bohemian district of the city. The old center is one of the largest surviving medieval old towns in Northern Europe. 25 churches, two castles, medieval streets, an old campus of a university from 16th century, city walsl with the Gate of Dawn, and medieval Jewish quarters which became ghettos during the World War II. All this and more can be explored together.

Uzupis, the artist district, is one of the most interesting places in town. A community of artists declared independence from Lithuania on April 1st 1997. Now April 1st is the day of independence of Uzupis. Explore the district with its galleries, artists, and sculptures. Your guide will tell you all about the local culture.
