Medvednica Nature Park Falconry Tour from Zagreb

This falconry tour is an ideal family excursion where kids can enjoy witnessing highly trained birds of prey and their connection with a human that is known as the oldest sport activity in the world.

You will get an opportunity to see the birds of prey from very close distance. Falconer will explain the diversity between different breeds and their characters. Story telling will provide information about various purposes that these birds are handled and used these days. Croatian history and heritage has been deeply influenced by falconry that spread to Europe and US from nowadays areas of Balkans.

A visit to medieval Medvedgrad castle is included in the tour, where you can immerse yourself in the legends about the Black Queen and her hidden treasure guarded by bewitched black ravens...
